WEAPONS AND TACTICS
Rifle: The main weapon used by the British in trenches was the rifle. The rifle could fire 1,400 meters and still kill a human being. Fifteen rounds could be fired in a minute.
Machine Guns: Machine guns were used during World War I. They needed 4-6 men to work them and it had to be on a flat surface.
Mines: Mines were explosives charges or large bombs, which were buried underground and would trigger when soldiers would step on them.
Mortars: Mortars were machines that launched shells into the opposing armies trench.
Tanks: Tanks were armored vehicles that people rode on for protection. They could shoot behind these.
Trench Warfare: Trench Warfare was the was a tactic in WWI. Soldiers would dig big trenches and shoot from under there.
