Economically, the rich owners got really rich through new business methods, and Capitalism gave businesses freedom over money and wages. The government didn't own the business. They decided what they want to do with it. It was a privately owned business. A lot of other countries also used capitalism as their economic system. This system caused another economic/government system. It was communism. Communism was the opposite pf capitalism. The government owns all businesses. Also there is no rich or poor. Everybody gets equally distributed money. This is how industrialization shaped the economic landscape in the 20th and 19th century.
Socially people were split into rich and poor. People went to new areas because of transportation. More farmers were in cities because of the IR. Labor Unions were created to fight this. Labor unions came together and fought for higher wages, lower working hours, and better working conditions. The thing was that the rich would replace them easily with other people who wanted the job. Agricultural Revolution caused a higher population because of more food supply which encouraged more population growth, which caused urbanization. More farmers moved to the city which increased population. This caused more jobs to be needed and higher wages which added to the trouble. These is how industrialization shaped the social landscape in the 20th and 19th century.
