This happened because Karl Marx thought the rich were exploiting the poor by keeping their wages low and making them have bad working conditions. This was one of the reactions to the Industrial Revolution.
- Labor unions were also formed. Labor unions fought for better working conditions, hygiene, lower working hours, and more stuff. Workers were usually worked to 10 to 15 hour days. Labor unions fought for 8 hour days.
- Also, The machines were dirty and sometimes dangerous. They didn't usually work because there were plenty of other people looking for a job.
- Training the new workers was also easy. The old workers were easily replaceable. Labor Unions were the second reaction to the Labor Unions.
